Study Voice with Rebecca

Rebecca offers an energetic and well-rounded approach to voice lessons.  She is pleased to be teaching in Ithaca, NY, where she was born and home-schooled, and where she experienced a unique foundation of education in the arts. 

Education:
BA Vocal Performance: SUNY Geneseo, NY
MM Early Music: Longy School of Music, Cambridge, MA

* Now accepting new students of all ages and experience levels
* Singers of all voice types welcome

Advanced:
Detail work and coaching for advanced students with prior vocal experience.  Refine technique and experiment with repertoire. 

Advanced Beginners:
Work on technique, performance experience, and the repertoire that you love and that works best for you.

Beginners:
Come and experience the joy of singing for the first time, discover your voice, begin to understand breath, presentation, and collaboration in music. 

Young Students:
Children younger than middle-school age are welcome for general music lessons in rhythm, singing, theory, music history, and other arts-related topics.  The technical aspects of singing will not be addressed in practice until the student is older.  Music lessons involve fun games and hands-on activities as well as singing.

* Private and group sessions available.  Create your own group of friends or inquire about current groups.

* Middle School and High School students welcome for short or long-term lessons and coaching for regional and state competitions.

* Lessons offered at Hickeys Music Center in Ithaca, or can be held at your home depending on location and scheduling.
